Harro macht sich an die letzten Übungen und Vorbereitungen, bevor er abtaucht und sich der größten Herausforderung seines Lebens stellt. Wird er es schaffen? Phoenix-Bad

Das Phönix – ein Stück Lebensqualität in Ottobrunn Im Juli 1997, rund ein Jahr nach dem verheerenden Feuer, bei dem das alte Ottobrunner Schwimmbad fast völlig ausgebrannt ist, gründete die Gemeinde Ottobrunn die Sportpark Ottobrunn GmbH. Als privatwirtschaftlicher Betrieb sollte sie zukünftig den Wiederaufbau und den Betrieb des gemeindeeigenen Schwimmbads in die Hand nehmen. Das Engagement der Gemeinde hat sich gelohnt: In kaum einem anderen Ort haben die Bürgerinnen und Bürger eine vergleichbar hochwertige gemeindeeigene Sport- und Wellnessoase direkt vor der Haustür. Seit der Wiedereröffnung am 1. Mai 1999 und der endgültigen vollständigen Betriebsübernahme durch die Sportpark Ottobrunn GmbH im Mai 2000 hat Ottobrunn das Phönix-Bad in mehreren Phasen zu einer vielseitigen Anlage mit Hallenbad, beheiztem Außenbecken, Wasserrutschen, einem großzügigen Sauna-Bereich und seit März 2010 mit einem exklusiven Day Spa ausgebaut. Der Geheimtipp für München und sein Umland Jährlich besuchen rund 375.000 Wassersportler das Freizeitbad. Rund 97.000 Gäste pro Jahr tummeln sich im Sauna-Bereich. Die Attraktivität der vielseitigen, aber immer noch überschaubaren Anlage hat sich weit über die Ortsgrenzen von Ottobrunn herumgesprochen. Viele Stammgäste reisen aus München, den Landkreisen München, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Ebersberg und Erding und den Nachbargemeinden an.
